American Blue Ribbon Holdings, LLC Aquires Parent Company of Village Inn

Denver (March 30, 2009) – VICORP Restaurants, Inc. announced today the sale of assets to American Blue Ribbon Holdings, LLC a new entity formed by Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (“FNF”) and Newport Global Advisors. The motion to accept the sale of assets was submitted and approved on March 13, 2009 by Judge Kevin Gross of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Del. and the deal closed on Friday March 27, 2009. As a result of the sale, American Blue Ribbon Holdings, LLC will own and operate the Village Inn and Bakers Square restaurant brands as well the VICOM pie operation.

Village Inn Makes Large Food Donation
to Food Bank of the Rockies

DENVER (November 24, 2008) –Village Inn Restaurants, a division of VICORP Restaurants, Inc., announced today that it made a substantial food donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies. The donation comes just in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Kevin Seggelke, president of Food Bank of the Rockies, said, “This is the most difficult economy I have seen in the six years I’ve been at the food bank. This gesture from the employees of Village Inn, especially during the holiday, is greatly appreciated and will help brighten spirits by sweetening up many, many family meals.”
